Petra Fagerström is a London-based womenswear brand founded by Swedish designer Petra Fagerström, who launched her eponymous label one year after graduating from Central Saint Martins.

The brand was created to propose a way of being a woman through dress that is grounded in presence, intelligence, and agency rather than softness or nostalgia. The woman we design for is at the centre of every design decision we make.

Our signature is lenticular pleating, a couture technique in which hundreds of individual pleats are hand-sewn into place before the fabric is set, producing a shifting animation across the surface of the garment. The result reads as digitally rendered, yet every element is made by hand. This tension between the technological and the handmade is central to our practice, and to who we are as a brand.
