Privacy policy

This policy explains how Petra Fagerström collects and uses your personal data when you visit petrafagerstrom.com, place an order or join our mailing list. The data controller is Petra Fagerström AB, Iskällareliden 5B, 416 55 Göteborg, Sweden, company registration 559388-0478. What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you give one, and details of what you bought. Payment is handled by our payment providers, we do not see or store your full card number. When you join our mailing list we collect your email address. When you browse the site we collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser, pages viewed and how you reached us, through cookies and similar tools.

Why we use it

We use your data to process and deliver your order, handle returns, refunds and customer service, send you order and shipping updates, prevent fraud, meet our legal and tax obligations, and, with your consent, send you our newsletter about preorders, sales access and occasional news. We also use aggregated site data to understand how the site is used and improve it.

Legal basis

We process your data to perform our contract with you (orders, delivery, returns), to comply with law (tax and accounting records), for our legitimate interests (site security, fraud prevention, improving the site) and, for marketing and non essential cookies, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the services we need to run the shop: Shopify, which hosts the site and stores order data; our payment providers; DHL for delivery, including the customs declarations required to ship to you; Klaviyo for email; and, where enabled, analytics and advertising tools such as Google and Meta. Each of these processes your data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of these services store data outside the EU and UK, including in the United States. Where that happens the transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site and checkout work, and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie preferences link in the footer or your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law, currently seven years. Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Site analytics data is kept in aggregated form.

Your rights

Under EU and UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To do so, email info@petrafagerstrom.com. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or your local data protection authority. If you are in California you have similar rights under the CCPA and can contact us at the same address.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page.
